The Synopsis
Every Breath You Take is a searing psychological thriller about a psychiatrist (Casey Affleck, “Gone Baby Gone”), whose career is thrown into jeopardy when his patient takes her own life. When he invites his patient’s surviving brother (Sam Claflin, “Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) into his home to meet his wife (Michelle Monaghan, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) and daughter, his family life is suddenly torn apart.
Sam Claflin is a English actor and former student from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 2011 he made his International debut with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tide. However, his breakout recognition was in 2013 when he played Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay part one and two. Since then he has been in other major feature films like Snow White and the Huntsman, Me Before You with Emilia Clake and Adrift among others. Television has also been a success, he was in the hit BBC series Peaky Blinders. Last year he was seen in the Netflix film Enola Holmes.

I had a pleasant conversation with Sam Claflin via Zoom to talk about his participation in Every Breath You Take. He spoke about his character and how he managed to navigate the emotional changes.
