In its third year for Scare Diego, Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema keeps its tradition on previewing its horror lineup on Preview Night during San Diego Comic-Con International 2019.

Hundreds of horror fans lined up for hours to enter Spreckels Theater to watch the first-look new trailer and a few exclusive clips from It Chapter 2.

The new trailer will be released by Warner Brothers on Thursday morning.

The crowd was entertained by the event’s host with talk show host Conan O’Brien. He was joined by the whole adult cast of It Chapter 2 and director Andy Muschietti. The adult cast included Bill Hader, Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Jay Ryan and Isaiah Mustafa.

Full descriptions will not be revealed of the exclusive clips on the site to protect the secrecy. The three scenes revealed included a reunion of the Losers Club in a Chinese restaurant, an incident with Pennywise in a fun house’s hall of mirror, and the a confrontation inside the Neibolt House.

The panel did reveal certain trivial fun facts about the production of It Chapter 2, including nearly 4,500 gallons of fake blood is used, Chastain willingness to be smothered in blood as if to “make Carrie on steroids,” McAvoy was injured for six months on set with tendinitis, all actors were given a photo of their younger counterparts to keep and Bill Skarsgard has a natural gift for shifty eyes to create Pennywise’s eyes without CGI.

After the panel, audience were given a Pop! figure of Conan as Pennywise and a red balloons pin.

It Chapter 2 will be in theaters on September 6.
