Back in August, our very own El Mayimbe reported that, amongst others, we should expect to see a certain supporting character from an earlier MCU film appear in Ant-Man. We now have confirmation that Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell in the Captain America films, will appear in the film.

How do we know this? Well, the project is currently looking for stand-ins and body doubles and- included in the breakdowns- is a casting call for someone to work as/with Atwell. 

Here’s the breakdown:

“Haley Atwell Stand-in Casting Call

NLC is searching for an experienced stand in for Haley Attwell. She is 31, 5’7?, 112 lbs. This will work in November on a Sunday. Please submit to [email protected] with your headshot, age, height, weight and sizes. Must have experience. Thanks.“

No word yet in how substantial the role will be. It’s likely to be the standalone flashback scene between Hank Pym and and the “OG” S.H.I.E.L.D. characters described by El Mayimbe in the earlier report.
