For decades, wrestling has seen its transformation and evolution as an entertainment powerhouse live in-person inside the ring and also on television. With the upcoming drama series Heels, Starz presents an original drama about what goes on inside the ring and the life outside the ring.

The drama series is about two rival brothers—one a ring heel and the other a hero—grapple over their late father’s wrestling promotion business while vying for national attention in small-town Georgia.

The cast includes Stephen Amell (Arrow), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games), Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, Chris Bauer, and two-time Super Bowl champion James Harrison as Apocalypse.

Starz released a sneak peek behind the scenes and character art for Heels during its virtual panel at Comic-Con@Home. The panelists included Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, James Harrison, Allen Maldonado, and Chris Bauer. Creator and executive producer Michael Waldron and executive producer Mike O’Malley also joined in the conversation.

Heels premieres worldwide on all Starz platforms on Sunday, August 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
