A mix of Barside Buzz and new artwork as we look at Secret Wars potentially having ‘Barons’ and a first look at Doctor Doom’s Doombots in Doomsday. Let’s begin with what is being claimed official artwork, though I’ve yet to see an official source for this. This image below looks like a new poster for Doomsday we haven’t seen before. That we would assume is his Doombots lining the walls in the poster.
Check it out,

Second up today we have a Secret Wars rumor from Caleb Williams who has shot up my leaker ranking recently with a few key scoops before trades. Knight Edge Media‘s Williams says he has some information, which seems to match the little we know about the plot of Avengers: Secret Wars.
Small Tidbit…. #AvengersSecretWars is gonna introduce “Barons” while on Battleworld just like the comic
Theres already some concept art out there in the ether with some surprising characters working for Doom as a Baron 👀👀👀 pic.twitter.com/T0OMrTvu8j

Interesting and adds a little detail to some vague claims we have heard already. At least we are in a rumor phase for Secret Wars and the entire plot hasn’t leaked like Doomsday. Though one filming begins in January, 2027 we could be seeing more confirmed leaks. Like Doomsday, the real leaks will begin once the test screenings do.
The Russos have always said they love the Secret Wars comic, so I think it will be a reasonably faithful adaptation. Whereas, the set up in Doomsday will be far more original and nothing like the original comic set up for Secret Wars.
As always, leave any thoughts on todays news/rumors below.
