When it was announced that Don Cheadle would be playing jazz legend Miles Davis, it was one of those things that was almost a foregone conclusion. In fact, he’d been picked for the role before he even knew about MILES AHEAD– the upcoming film about a turbulent period in the musician’s life. Who had chosen him? Davis’s nephew, Vince Wilburn, at the 2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction of his uncle. He said Cheadle was the man to do it.
And, from the looks of this new trailer, Wilburn may have been right on the money. You can check it out right here:
Cheadle also co-wrote and directed MILES AHEAD, which is set to be released in April. The film’s cast also includes Ewan McGregor, Keith Stanfield, and Michael Stuhlbarg.
