Believe it or not, we are already through nine episodes of DC Universe’s Titans. This week Titans’ episode took a step back and looked into Hawk and Dove’s past. Two weeks ago we had the introduction of Donna Troy played by Conner Leslie and based on the latest promo for Titans for this week’s episode, she is back in episode ten titled “Koriand’r.” Check it out above!

It seems like in this episode, Starfire, played by Anna Diop is starting to piece together her past and that seems to be bad news for Raven who we had seen being choked by Starfire in episode 8. With that said, it looks like Donna and Dick Grayson make it there in time to save the day. What is cool about the promo is that we get to see Donna take down Starfire with her trademark Lasso of Persuasion, which like Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth, glows when shes uses it.

In the comics, the Lasso of Persuasion compelled foes with less willpower than Wonder Girl to do what she asked but it also had some similarities in battle to her mentor of Themysciria’s Lasso of Truth. For the series, we know that although we may not get to see Donna in her full Wonder Girl costume, we will at least get to see some of her gear that connects her to her past.
