Just under a year ago, I left a press screening that saw an entire audience silenced by the end. In the closing minutes, we saw a decent number of our heroes succumb to Thanos’ snap. In an instant, half the universe was eradicated, and the rest was left to pick up all the pieces. In Avengers: Endgame, we’ll be seeing the grand conclusion to that story.
We’ve had a couple of trailers thus far, and they’ve done a good job not only hyping it up, but keeping us from seeing what happens beyond the first act of the film. We’ve seen no villain, we’ve seen no real conflict, and that’s totally cool. They continue that trend with this latest trailer, which plays up the emotion of the entire situation.

Below is the new synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:
“The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.”
