Set Photos & A Video From ‘Deadpool’ Have Surfaced Online

It’s funny that Deadpool is quietly becoming a must-see event. Considering the on-again, off-again nature of the project, the fact that the character’s cinematic life was damn near derailed by X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and the fact that it’s going to be a modestly-budgeted rated-R affair, Deadpool is sort of a dark horse underdog to the “big” franchises. Yet you can feel it in the, um, “cyber air” here on the internet. There’s a palpable buzz, and this could turn into something really special.

Today, the buzz continues to be cultivated thanks to a slew of set photos and a video from the film’s Vancouver shoot. Below, you’re going to see Ryan Reynolds (or at least his double) suited up, doing some neat things.

See for yourself:

And here’s a video of clips captured from the shoot, set to Alan Silvestri’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” theme:

You excited about Deadpool yet?
