We finally get a date for the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Seth Rogen tweeted an image of a torn notebook page from Leonardo dated August 11, 2023. That guy is a crazy note-taker. I thought I was messy. It’s funny how he has drawings on it with words like ‘discipline’ and ‘pay attention’ on it, but it’s a page full of doodles. Take your own advice, Leo.

What we know so far
Seth Rogen, along with Evan Goldberg and Jeff Weaver will be producing the CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Also, that TMNT will air on Nickelodeon. Of course, we will be getting all the turtles back, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. The note also had April’s name on it, and it wouldn’t be TMNT without Splinter. Back in April, The Illuminerdi posted the character descriptions for the turtles with the brothers being between the ages of 13 and 16. I like that they stuck with the traditional traits for the turtles and added some interesting character traits and flaws as well. I can’t wait to see where writer, Brendan O’Brian, and director Jeff Rowe take this project.

When I first heard that there was going to be another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, I was not thrilled. Although, when I heard, like a few seconds later, that Seth Rogen was going to be a part of it, I’m not mad at it anymore. I would like to see what they do with the turtles. I loved the first 2 movies, the 2007 movie, and the 2012 cartoon. TMNT III was…. I don’t know. Meh? I’m gonna go with meh. Also, I wasn’t interested in watching the 2014 and 2016 movies. The turtles are loved by so many and I’m hoping that the 2023 TMNT gets the love it deserves as well.
