Fans have been eager to see what we’d be getting ever since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was announced to be on the upcoming slate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We met a few of the cast members at San Diego Comic-Con, which revealed Simu Liu as the titular character and the release date of February 12, 2021.

With the release date on the horizon, its production date would inevitably be approaching, with many Marvel Studios films requiring around a year from production start to release. So when would Shang-Chi begin production?

According to ProductionList.com, the Marvel film will begin shooting on November 1 of this year, which is fairly soon! Check out the post below!

It looks like production will range from Australia to Los Angeles, but that wasn’t the only big reveal! We also have a synopsis for the film. Sure, it’s nothing huge, but it gives us a basic idea of what’s up.

“In the comics, Shang-Chi is the son of China-based globalist who raised and educated his progeny in his reclusive China compound, closed off to the outside world. The son trained in the martial arts and developed unsurpassed skills.”
