As per the title a Shang-Chi leaked Lego set could possibly give us our first real look at Simu Liu suited up. However, with all Lego sets take what you are seeing with a pinch of salt. Historical evidence is that there are a number of Lego sets which do not really represent moments from the movies. Though, some do as well, which is which, that’s the tricky part.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is out this year. If Black Widow‘s release goes as planned in May, Shang-Chi is set for July 9th in theaters. It therefore makes complete sense that some of the merchandising for the movie is starting to appear now. Quite often prior to a movies release, the leaked merchandise can give us more clues than any insider ever does. Check out the image below. You can find the original source at this Reddit link.
The Lego figures themselves don’t really tell us much. However that appears to be an artistic styling of Shang-Chi himself on the right hand side. It does look like Simu Liu I think you will agree.

As for the set itself, well, I’m not so sure about the Water Dragon, or whatever that is. There are rumors that the dragon Fin Fang Foom features in Shang-Chi. I happen to think the dragon in the MCU will be the previous owner of the Ten Rings. Whether we actually see any fight sequences with the dragon in the movie, that’s harder to say? Design wise, I have to say this dragon doesn’t resemble the comic version of Fin Fang Foom much either. So we could be looking at something which simply doesn’t make sense until we see the movie. Or, this could be a moment which the movie goes nowhere near?
