Shawn and Gus as back, and they want to tell you about Psych: The Movie. Or, is it James Roday and Dule Hill? I’ve heard it both ways…

Yes, Psych: The Movie is coming to USA Network this year. No, it won’t hit movie theaters. No, it won’t be in 3D. And no, you won’t be seeing Ryan Gosling alongside your favorite fake Psychic Detective.
What you will be getting this December is a reunion of the entire cast, “fighting the scariest foes they’ve ever fought,” according to writer/director Steve Franks. Shawn and Gus will face the Thin White Duke, played by Zachary Levi, and they’ll be aided by Juliet (Maggie Lawson), Chief Vick (Kirsten Nelson), Henry Spencer (Corbin Bersen), and even Woody the coroner (Kurt Fuller). Omundson is expected to be involved in some way, though his role won’t be as large as it was on the show, due to a stroke he had months ago.
It is certainly good to see that Roday and Hill still have that magic chemistry that made the show so enjoyable, as it will be the key to this reunion’s success. Shawn and Gus were one of the greatest buddy duos with one of the strongest “bromances” on basic cable, and their absence has been felt by millions of fans since the show left the air in 2014. It’s good to have you back, gentlemen and fellow ’80s enthusiasts!
So, grab your pineapples, and just wait for it… wait for it… because Psych: The Movie comes out this December on USA Network.
