Is She-Hulk in trouble? Well according to one insider, the answer is potentially yes based on what they are hearing. However against this claim, some insiders, whom I’ve learned to trust over the years are saying this is not the case at all. I don’t have the answers, but I’ll let you make up your own mind.
The initial claim came from Jeff Sneider formerly of the likes of Collider. In Sneider’s show he co-hosts with John Rocha, The Hot Mic, he claimed he’s heard She-Hulk is potentially in trouble and those working on it are worried. Transcripts below.
“I’ve heard not good things behind-the-scenes… and I’ve asked whether it’s Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel or Secret Invasion or any of these [projects], they are always like, ‘She-Hulk is the one that could be a problem. I’ve heard it from people working on it, from people actually working on it who are just like, ‘We’ll see.'”
“I think that’s a lot of Marvel things, honestly, and you know where it’s just like, ‘Ugh, this could be really stupid, like we’ll see.’ I’m sure people making Guardians of the Galaxy felt that way, right? And most of the time [Marvel] pulls it out. But there will come a time where they won’t, that’s just the laws of movie making, the laws of numbers.”

If this was the only story in town, I’d likely not cover it to be honest. I think bad reviews of a complete film, or nearly completed film or show are one thing. But I think it’s hard for people working on a show to get a true sense of what a directors is envisioning etc. What perhaps makes this more interesting is that two insiders I’ve learned to trust with Marvel leaks have come out and disagreed with Sneider here saying they’ve not heard anything like that from their own sources.
Aside from the 4th wall breaking stuff potentially being a little goofy (and maybe that's not for everyone?) I have really only heard positive things about #SheHulk this whole time. Reshoots went smoothly, I'm told, as well.

Not saying this is bs but I haven’t heard of any issues with this show and it sounds absolutely bonkers and hilarious https://t.co/ZMuqOdtFL3

Jeff has written for the likes of Collider and Variety. However that doesn’t mean he took those sources with him when he left? Just as an FYI, if I ever leave LRM and claim I took our Lucasfilm sources with us, I’m lying, because I don’t even know their real identity. We do this to protect our sources, but what I do trust is the person who works for LRM and does know this information. Anyway, my point is, I don’t yet know whether to trust Sneider, I do know I can trust both Hill and Walsh above as they come through on a regular and consistent basis.
Judge for yourself them on whether you think She-Hulk in trouble is a real concern or not? I personally have had serious worries and doubts about She-Hulk since the day it was announced. Described as a half-hour legal comedy, 4th wall breaking and more comedy based. None of this sadly, sounds like my kind of bag. However, I’ll watch She-Hulk and decide if I like it or not when it’s released, not before hand. If it sucks, I’ll call it like I see it in my review.
As always, leave your thoughts below on the whole She-Hulk in trouble claims and counter claims.
