The Boys Season 3 was delayed like so many other hit shows and movies due to the pandemic. However things are now moving ahead on the filming of the third season of Amazon’s hit show. Now showrunner Eric Kripke has teased fans with a post about the dailies coming in from filming.

Perhaps Kripke is referring to Herogasm, given the image he shares. Herogasm is an event from the comics that is being adapted for Season 3. Most comic book fans, I’ve heard from do not seem to think it can be too direct an adaptation, as that would just be porn. However we are getting the TV version of this event. In the comics the Supers all get to go off to some island and just have a whale of a time. Hedonistic debauchery would, from what I hear, be a mild description.
Who knows how Kripke and colleagues will pull this off and make it work for TV, but so far so good with The Boys. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two season of The Boys and and look forward to Season 3, whenever that might be coming.

I look forward to seeing Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. If he is as much the opposite of Captain America as Homelander is Superman, it could be fun. However I do wonder whether he and Homelander will play well together or not? One would guess perhaps not and we all know how Homelander can react to that. We are guessing Soldier Boy would not be able to do anything against Homelander of note.
