Skincare Trailer: There are few things in life as good as good as a great drama. So, I felt intrigued when I read the synopsis for Austin Peters’ new film, Skincare. It smashes all the right buttons that make a film buff giddy. Don’t believe me? Check out the synopsis below.

‘Famed aesthetician Hope Goldman (Elizabeth Banks) is about to take her career to the next level by launching her very own skincare line, but her personal and work lives are challenged when rival facialist Angel Vergara (Luis Gerardo Méndez) opens a new skincare boutique directly across from her store. She starts to suspect that someone is trying to sabotage her reputation and business, and together with her new friend Jordan (Lewis Pullman) she embarks on a mission to unravel the mystery of who is trying to destroy her life.’

You might be asking yourself one of two things now. Who is Austin Peters? And when can I see Skincare? Well, dear readers, Austin Peters is a director who made his bones shooting for the likes of Haim, Bastille and Major Lazer. Insert thudding dance music. Smash cut to commercials for Vogue, i-D, Wrangler, American Express, Rag & Bone, and Target.

As far as Skincare, serve your eyeballs a treat and check out the trailer below. Skincare stars Elizabeth Banks, Lewis Pullman, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Michaela Jaé (MJ) Rodriguez, Nathan Fillion. Skincare is distributed by IFC films. The film will make its theatrical premiere August 16, 2024.
