The world can simply not have enough movies starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The man has always drawn an audience, often for the most ridiculous action movies, but now that Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is one of the biggest hits of 2017, his star power and profile could not be higher!

We all know that Rampage is next for Johnson, a film that fits perfectly into his overall catalog, and is ridiculous enough it must be a Rock movie! But what comes after that? Do we really have to wait for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, which is still casting, to see Johnson’s biceps that are bigger than my head?

Never fear, Johnson has a summer release that is near, Skyscraper. And we have the poster!

Johnson stars in Skyscraper as a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who currently assesses security for skyscrapers. While working in China, he finds the tallest, safest building on the planet suddenly ablaze. And guess what? They framed him for it! Now on the run from the law, Will must find those responsible and clear his name. To make matters worse, he must somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building, above the fire line.

So, part Backdraft, part Die Hard, and part The Fugitive with maybe some Mission: Impossible thrown in there for good measure? Count me in!…pending the full trailer Sunday.

Skyscraper is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers). The 3D action-thriller also stars Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Noah Taylor, Roland Moller, Bryon Mann, Pablo Schreiber, and Hannah Quinlivan. So… the lead from Scream and a bunch of people I’ve never heard of. But, of course, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the only name Universal needs to get butts in seats!

What do you think of the poster for Skyscraper? Does this movie sound like something you may be interested in? Let us know in the comment section below!
