Sofia Boutella Signs on for Leading Role in ‘Star Trek 3’

Sofia Boutella made a remarkable and memorable appearance as the assassin with blades for legs in “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”

Now she is heading towards “Star Trek 3” with a major role.

It’s not known at this time on which side she’s on at this time. So be aware a lot of rumors and denials will result from this.

Boutella is known for her dancing moves for television commercials and movies such as “Dance Challenge” and “StreetDance 2.” And her experience helped her land in “Kingsman.” She will be appearing in the sequel “Monsters: Dark Continent” later this month.

The sequel will be directed by Justin Lin and the script is written by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung (“Dark Blue”).

It’s set for a release date on July 8, 2016.
