As most of you now know, last night’s episode of Westworld featured a very cool Easter egg. Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss appeared in the show as technicians working for the Delos corporation. Even better, they were working on a new host, Drogon, the beloved dragon from the HBO fantasy series based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novels of George R.R. Martin.
Jonathon Nolan who is one of the showrunners on Westworld revealed during an interview with Variety that this isn’t the first time a crossover between the two beloved worlds has been suggested, check out what he had to say below.
“George had consistently since the first season said, ‘We’ve got to do a tie-in with Game of Thrones.’ People forget that George was originally a TV writer and he came up in the TV world in which you’d occasionally have these crossover shows, which the fans would f—ing freak out over.

Wow, the potential of these Easter eggs could be something truly special, although nothing is confirmed. I, of course, mean that perhaps Westeros is just another world within Westworld. I love Westworld and actually had no idea it was back for Season 3. Yeah I’ve been slacking just a bit, but considering what’s going on in the world, can you really blame me?
Either way, as soon as I finish today’s articles, it’s Westworld time at my house!
