Sonic Breaks The Speed Limit In New Poster

Against all odds, Sonic the Hedgehog managed to do the impossible. Please audiences with the design of the titular video game character. Following the initial trailer’s release, fans cried out over the creepy Sonic design, prompting a complete rework of the character. While the movie doesn’t necessarily look any better from a story perspective, there’s no doubt they’ve won some solid fan brownie points with the changes they made.

Now, with the film headed to theaters in just over a month, you can bet the studio will be pushing out all the marketing material to accommodate this design change. We got a first new taste of this in a new poster.

I have to say, this is quite the step up from that first poster we received, which saw Sonic’s legs hanging over the Golden Gate bridge. It’s kind of crazy that the legs we saw in that original poster no longer reflect the legs we’ll be seeing in the new movie, as the shoes and leg definition have completely changed.
