Next month will be the release of the sequel to the surprise hit film from Sony Pictures Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which did over $962 worldwide. Now on December 13th get ready for Jumanji: The Next Level, which will see the return of some of our favorites like Dwanye Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and even Nick Jonas.

With two trailers now out for Jumanji: The Next Level, Sony Pictures has released a set of character posters, which feature the above mentioned returning cast as well as newcomer Awkwafina and even a horse. You can check them out below!

Filling in the rest of the cast are Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, Ser’Darious Blain and Madison Iseman along with Danny Glover and Danny Devito. Jake Kasdan returns to direct the sequel based off a script written by him along with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Jumanji: The Next Level is being produced by Kasdan as well as Johnson, Matt Tolmach, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. Executive Producers for the film are David Householter, Melvin Mar, Rosenberg, Pinkner, William Teitler, Ted Field and Mike Weber.

Here is the synopsis for the film:
“In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.”
