Sophie Turner Confirms Role In New X-MEN, No Word Yet If Cersei Will Get Destroyed In GoT

Our favorite redhead had a few things to say last night at the 2017 British Academy Film Awards. Now let’s hold up, this will not be “spoil Game of Thrones time,” however we can confirm her future role in X-Men. Our very own MFR pointed this out a few days ago in one of his pieces, but this is solid confirmation. Sophie Turner had this to say.

“We’re about to start shooting the next X-Men, we’ve just finished shooting Season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I’ve got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season 8.”

We all think that the next iteration of X-Men will indeed be a Dark Phoenix story, which hopefully will be done properly. This is something that interests most of us here immensely, especially me. So will this upcoming movie get murdered like X-Men 2 or X-Men 3? I highly doubt it. I know that many were not impressed with Age of Apocalypse, even with the great Oscar Isaac playing the villain, so my guess is that Sansa, err sorry, Turner will actually be the main antagonist of the film.

I have one word here, which I may overuse — GREATNESS.

Oh yeah, give me red becoming Dark Phoenix and I will be in the theater taking notes for an hour 1 coverage of the film.

What do you guys think? Would Turner be perfect to be the “villain” for the next X-Men movie? Have any of you seen a woman that has become more beautiful every year?
