Spider-Man 3. Or Spider-Man 3, the second Spider-Man 3, if you prefer.
The upcoming film has garnered quite a bit of attention, with rumors the cast made include former Peter Parkers/Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Also rumored are the return of Mary Jane Watson (Kristen Dunst) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), in addition to a whole host of villains from earlier Spider-Man franchises.
But, Tom Holland wants you to know if they are in the film, he’s never seen them on set, as he told Variety:
If they are, they haven’t told me yet.
That being said, Holland also reminded us of all the Marvel Studios trickery to hide twists that we’ve seen in past trailers:
That’s something Marvel would do. So, that’s who that tennis ball was!
While Marvel maybe going so secretive as to keep these Spider-Men separate, I seriously doubt it. More likely, Holland has finally learned to keep a secret. Or our theories are about as flimsy as the WandaVision ones that Episode 4 just smashed last week.
Rumor: Could A Tweet Be More Evidence That Andrew Garfield Is In Spider-Man 3?
Basically everyone else in the world seems to be in Spider-Man 3. This includes Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), basically the entire cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home, as well as Alfred Molina and Jamie Fox. The pair are returning as the villain Doc Ock and Electro from the previous iterations of the franchise.
So who all will be in the latest Spider-Man 3? Not all the characters that are rumored, I hope. I believe in Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige, but we all remember that time the first Spider-Man 3 crammed in three villains…
Do you believe Tom Holland? Who else would you cram in? Howard the Duck? Let us know in the comments below!
