As rumored, Spider-Man: Brand New Day gets a brand new, but late in the day trailer after the big event in Amsterdam. Check it out below, the trailer gets into some of the story beats more than the last one, there more of MJ and Ned, a little more of the villain, Hulk and some cool action.

I think this looks absolutley awesome and much more in line with what my vision for a Spider-Man movie would be. That being said, we’ll see how it all connects together. I get the feeling director Destin Daniel Cretton was a fan of the 90’s Amazing Spider-Man animated series.

As for the plot, well, if you know the rumors around Sadie Sink and who she is playing, it’s not too hard to see what might be happening. Though the trailer still keeps her character vague and in the background. That being said, I also feel like there’s a twist in the tail (not Scorpion’s) in this one.

I have enjoyed all three MCU Spider-Man movies more than the Raimi films. That being said, I really like that this one is in New York with multiple villains and a more college era feel.

I’ll definitely be catching this one opening weekend come the end of July.
