Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Conjures Up Some Old Enemies

Dafoe Accepts Criticism Of Goblin's Mask In Spider-Man

Behold! Finally the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer is upon us, and so are some old enemies. Whilst not all the little leaks and rumors are covered in this one, there are a few. Buckle up, as Spider-Man is about to get magical.

I think my only gripe about this trailer, is that it tells us so much about the opening period of the movie. I feel like I already watched the first 20-minutes, and I’ll catch up this December. That being said, the good thing, is that it seems like most of what we see here is firmly from the first act of the movie. Yin and Yang I guess? There may be a few details beyond that, however I don’t think there’s much. Peter is no longer suspected by the authorities of causing of all Mysterio’s mayhem. However his is now famous, and Parker doesn’t like that. After going to see Doctor Strange, Peter asks Strange if he can do a spell to prevent anyone from remembering who he is. As we see, Peter’s intrusion into the process does Strange no favors with some disastrous results.

Unfortunately for both Parker and Strange, some of Spider-Man’s old enemies show up. Not This Peter’s old enemies, but those from the previous Spider-Man movies outside of the MCU. Ah, I’m sure in another Universe Marvel kept this one secret and we were all shocked. However, they didn’t and we were not. Both Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx (not seen here) were already known to be in the movie and others had been rumored. However we can now say for certain that Willem Dafoe is back as Norman Osborn, aka, The Green Goblin. Unless that is someone else’s pumpkin bomb anyway? Though the design, remains elusive for now. I hope they fixed Goblin’s suit.

Thus far there are no hints at those other rumored characters, but this is just the first trailer. Both Sandman and Rhino are rumored to appear, but the main hype is over the heroes. Rumors abound, and now seem highly likely, that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire have returned to play alt Peter Parkers.  Though, the buzz on the barside is that those two are being held back for the second trailer.

What do you think of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer? Are happy to see those old enemies back again? Leave any thoughts below.
