The Star Wars Celebration Showcase details have been revealed and many fans think there are hints at more than what is being promoted. The projects that will be ‘discussed by guests’ are unknown, but those we do know about are name dropped in the statement posted online, you can see below.
Star Wars Celebration opens with a must-see showcase Thursday, May 26! Lucasfilm’s live-action filmmakers will be joined by special guests to discuss Star Wars adventures coming soon, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, & The Mandalorian.

So we are getting some live-action filmmakers, and they are there to discuss Star Wars adventures coming soon. This includes (suggests not exclusively) Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor and The Mandalorian. However what else could wee possibly expect to hear about?
My top tip would be ‘Grammar Rodeo’ the secret Star Wars series that begins filming soon. Our sources have identified this show as one set in the High Republic period. However as yet we don’t have any talent attached, outside of rumors. If we are talking live-action only I will rule out The Bad Batch Season 2. However we could get updates also on the likes of Ahsoka, Rogue Squadron and Lando, all previously announced projects.

We also know The Acolyte is gearing up to begin filming this May, so it’s possible that show could be mentioned also. The only movie we have mentioned so far is Rogue Squadron, the only one with a title. However there is also Taika Waititi’s upcoming movie, and one to be produced by Marvel’s Kevin Feige. The chances of any details about those? I feel that is highly unlikely, but who knows for sure?
Going be Lucasfilm’s usual approach, we might get a trailer for Andor (more on that later) and nothing else but some new logo artwork for anything else? We don’t know, but many fans think the statement above hints at more than what is mentioned, Personally I’ll just wait and see what we do get. Been here too many times with Lucasfilm/Disney in the past.
What do you think of the Star Wars Celebration Showcase details? What do you think we’ll get more information on if anything? Thoughts below as always.
