Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order get ready to be happy, because EA has announced sequels are coming. Jedi: Fallen Order was a very successful game for EA and the studio that made it Respawn. so much so, that EA has now announced that Jedi: Fallen Order will be the first in a game franchise.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed the rumors during an earnings call. This is the first official news that Jedi: Fallen Order would not be a one off game. Though, it would be fair to say fans have been expecting this news since finishing the first game. Wilson referred to Jedi: Fallen Order as, “first title in an entirely new franchise” on the earnings call.
An investor call last year saw EA claim that Jedi: Fallen Order had, “significantly beat our expectations”. The news of more games to come is therefore hardly surprising. However, for many of the games fans, this official confirmation is good news. There is no kind of timeline attached to this announcement, and we don’t know exactly how far along sequel plans may be. But, it looks like Castis will be having some more adventures in the years to come.

Jedi: Fallen Order is a game that I own, kinda, as my son has it on disk. I really keep meaning to getting around to playing it, but somehow it never happens? Maybe I should remedy that as I have friends who played it and loved the game? I guess I looked at Jedi: Fallen Order and saw a shinier version of The Force Unleashed games, which I didn’t enjoy. Though, apparently the gaming experience in Jedi: Fallen Order is far superior to that of The Force Unleashed I have been informed. It can’t hurt to give it a shot can it?
