Yesterday we shared that the next trailer for Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker would be attached to Maleficent: Mistress of Evil from October 14th, as per the leaked report from a projectionist on Reddit. However, it’s no longer a rumor, so let’s give you some official teasing of the trailer release date instead shall we?
Yesterday StarWars.Com officially revealed our first look at alien character Babu Frik, which you can check out for yourselves here at LRM. In addition to this Star Wars official Twitter account responded with a not very cryptic message to a fan who posted pictures of his dog in comparison to Frik. Check out the twitter post below.
14/10, this pup would make a great droidsmith! https://t.co/euVGQWzjrx

Now, It doesn’t take a genius to work out that the official Twitter page are hinting at the date 14/10, or 10/14 depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on. When we add this to a leaked report showing instructions for attaching the trailer to Maleficent, along with the fact that the BBFC classified the trailer a few weeks ago, well, it all adds up doesn’t it?
Overall, it seems pretty certain that on the 14th we are getting the (probably) final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker. We know the trailer is longer that the one we saw previously (from the BBFC classification), but other than that we have heard no news about what this trailer might contain?
Are you excited to see the next trailer or are you already buying your tickets, which we expect to also go on sale on the 14th? Sound off below as always.
