Star Wars: Mark Hamill Reveals His Favorite The Last Jedi Moment

Even prior to the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, some fans were a bit uneasy. One of the film’s stars, Mark Hamill, had made some comments about fundamentally disagreeing with the direction of the character, and it understandably led to some questions from fans. When the movie eventually hit theaters, those concerns didn’t evaporate into thin air.

Here we are, well over a year since that movie hit, and still discussing it as if it were an open wound. If you’ve seen the film, chances are you have a very strong opinion about it one way or another. Personally, I loved it and think it could send the franchise into a bold, interesting direction. You probably have a different one. But even if Mark Hamill himself had some initial problems with the film, that’s not to say he has nothing good to say about it.

The actor took to social media to share what he felt was his favorite part of the movie.

Indeed, this is quite a powerful moment when we see Leia and Luke together for the first time since Return of the Jedi. It’s right before Luke goes out to face Kylo Ren and the First Order, and for me, it packed a real emotional punch. There was a warmth to it that, for me, implied a rich history between the two (of which we are all intimately aware). It was also made more powerful by actress Carrie Fisher’s passing.
