As the marketing continues forth for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, rumors are predictably flying all around us, some pointing in one direction, and some pointing in another completely different one. Earlier this week, we reported on rumors that October 14 would be when we could expect the trailer for the final chapter of the long-running saga of films. Now, there’s another rumor.

One Reddit user made a post that claimed we’d be getting a full trailer on Monday, October 7, and that prior to that, we’d be getting not one, not two, but FIVE teasers. If you want a description of those, you can head to the post and read them yourself in the source link below — for the sake of avoiding the posting of spoilers, I won’t put them here.

These teasers would be coming on Sunday during the NFL coverage on CBS, Fox, and NBC. The user also hints that there could be more, but they only of five or so.

Regardless of whether or not this ends up being true, we do know that marketing is about to get going on this joint. For The Force Awakens, we got a trailer on October 19, and for The Last Jedi, we got one on October 9, so this is pretty much on course, no matter if the trailer hits on the 7th or the 14th.
