A rumor hits the Barside Buzz that claims to be a description of a scene from new Star Wars film Starfighter in detail. Now, if this is legit or not I have no idea, judge for yourselves. However, I’m going to be careful about how I post this in case it is legit. Therefore, you’ll have the option to keep going or stop with the basics I give you.

This once comes from MSW, or perhaps we should say the person that used to run the MSW website and YT channel, both are long since dead. Whether they remain as reliable I have no idea? Therefore, judge on you own as I said.

This is a pretty thorough description of a potentially fun scene in the film. Therefore, spoiler warning if this is legit. Decide for yourself whether to proceed past my summary, to the link itself.

If this is true it confirms that Flynn Gray’s (Rone?) character has Force potential, but is untrained and Gosling’s character does not. That’s a rumour as old as the announcement itself, but there were some claims Gosling could also use the Force. If this is a true description then we can rule that out. There’s also a character called Belle wo seems to have some romantic history with Gosling’s ‘Kade’. There are some rumors this role was played by Gosling’s wife Eva Mendes but nothing I feel confident reporting yet.

As I said in my description, the teaser for Starfighter did nothing for me. No sense of what is happening or what’s at stake, or even the vibe of the film from the little shown. Hopefully the first public trailer will be a lot better and show off this next stage of Star Wars storytelling.
