Late last year saw the passing of Carrie Fisher, the woman who made an impact on millions of lives through her role of Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise. To some like me, she was a first crush, and many others, she was a role model to look up to as a strong female character.

In the time since the original Star Wars trilogy, Carrie Fisher stood out as a very funny, smart woman who was about as candid as you could get. She was a creative force in Hollywood, who worked at doctoring scripts for a number of big films, including Hook and Sister Act. In fact, she wasn’t just a script doctor, but according to The Independent, she was one of the BEST script doctors in the business. She even had a look-over of the prequel trilogies (sadly, not even her genius could save those scripts).

In her later years, she opened up about her experience in sex, drugs, and everything in between. She somehow managed to make it look like she didn’t give a crap about what anyone thought, all while not looking like a grumpy old woman (I’m looking at you, Harrison Ford).

With Star Wars Celebration now currently underway, it was inevitable that we’d be getting a brand new tribute to Fisher. This official tribute has a lot of great footage: a few from the films, and some behind-the-scenes, but a good portion of it shows off her great personality from more recent years while promoting The Force Awakens. It’s all very charming, and if you’re a fan of Fisher on any level you’ll likely appreciate.

Rest in peace, Carrie Fisher. You’ll be missed.
