The race in Steel Ball Run Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure continues into the 2nd and 3rd stages across the desert on horseback.

At Anime Expo 2026, fans got a glimpse in a second trailer of Steel Ball Run: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, along with the reveal of some new characters.

Here is the description:

Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli take on a grueling long-distance stage across the desert. From a cowboy pursuing the culprit behind a sudden mysterious murder, to a figure wielding immense power.

A desert crossing spanning roughly 750 miles—the land that Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must challenge, is home to the area that is feared as the “Devil’s Palm.” As ominous incidents begin to unfold, they are forced to realize that this race is far more than a mere competition.

The two press forward into the 2^nd stage of the 9 stages, where countless hidden motives collide.

During Anime Expo 2026, four new characters were revealed from Steel Ball Run Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Check them out below.

Mountain Tim (cv. Tomoaki Maeno)

A cowboy from Wyoming. One of the favorites to win the Steel Ball Run, he enters the race as the top contender. After a series of mysterious murders occur during the race, he is appointed as a deputy sheriff to investigate the cases. Riding Horse: Shadow Rider.

Hot Pants (cv. Yoko Hikasa)

A formidable competitor who vies for the lead from the very beginning of the Steel Ball Run race. A mysterious figure whose age, real name, and background remain unknown, yet refined manners and graceful bearing suggest an aristocratic upbringing. Riding Horse: Giddyup.

Funny Valentine (cv. Tomokazu Sugita)

The president of the United States, a figure who enjoys overwhelming public support. He supports the Steel Ball Run Race, a transcontinental race across North America—yet behind his involvement, hidden intentions seem to lurk.

The second and third stages of Steel Ball Run Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure streams on Netflix every Friday starting September 25, 2026. There will be 11 episodes in total. The first stage is now streaming on Netflix.
