For Storm Reid and Deric McCabe, it was their first major role feature film and it’s a big one.
A Wrinkle In Time is out on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download today. The film is based on the beloved children’s novel by Madeleine L’Engle.
Reid and McCabe stars alongside an all-star cast that included Oprah Winfrey (The Color Purple), Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde), Mindy Kaling (The Office), Levi Miller (Pan), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) and Michael Pena (American Hustle). It is directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma).
The film follows the story of a young girl, her brother and her friend using the Tesseract for space travel to find her father. She is assisted by three magical beings called Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which to complete a daring rescue from a terrible evil being of the universe.
