That’s right folks, if you have watched the teaser above title ‘From Russia with Love’, then you know what is being spoiled here very early on. After leaving us on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 3, it does appear like Hop is indeed alive. He does not look too happy, mind upi, but who would be happy being worked in a Soviet labor camp?
The teaser gives us no actual hints to what the story of Season 4 may be though. Obviously we know now that Hopper will be back, that changes things. However, how will they actually get Hopper back? What is happening in Hawkins? Where will the threat from the Upside Down come from this time? Nothing here gives us any hints as to what is to come other than the fact Hopper is alive. I kinda like that to be honest.

Stranger Things 4 is expected to release around October of this year. However, no official release date has been set, and there are no active clues within the teaser. It is quite suprising that the first detail they reveal about this is such a major hanging question. One would assume it will be difficult to keep David Harbour’s involvement a secret right up until release. Perhaps they thought it better to simply answer the question and create a little hype for the show at the same time?
Either way, Hopper is back, and he’s in Russia. Whatever happens, you can be assured that Joy and her family will do whatever they can to free him, IF they find out he’s alive.
