STRANGER THINGS: Barb Returns In This New ‘Deleted Scene’

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon had some fun with Stranger Things fans on last night’s broadcast. One of the topics of conversation since the series debuted on Netflix has been Barb, the red-haired, big glasses-wearing, granny-jeaned BFF of Nancy. If you haven’t seen the series but intend to, don’t read on.

..

.

We all know she was taken to the Upside Down, and that she was killed off. Well, in the “deleted scene” sketch below, Jimmy Fallon and his writers toy with the idea of her being very alive and very pissed that the series regulars forgot about her. To help with the sketch, Fallon enlisted several of the actual child actors from the series- who were appearing on the show anyway- to reprise their roles.

Check it out below. It’s kind of funny, and a nice little nugget for Stranger Things fans to enjoy during the arduous wait for Season 2.

Fun little bit of trivia: Aside from Fallon, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin, the other actor in this Stranger Things sketch- the one who plays Barb- is actually The Tonight Show’s head writer, A.D. Miles.

And hey, don’t feel too bad for Barb. The actress who played her, Shannon Purser, just landed a gig on The CW’s upcoming series Riverdale.
