Nearly exactly one year ago, Rocksteady Studios announced Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League at DC FanDome’s inaugural streaming convention. Fans got the early buzz with the first look at our favorite Suicide Squad villains of Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Deadshot, and Harley Quinn.
In less than a year for the game’s release, Rocksteady Studios with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released another teaser video to reveal more stories for the video game at this year’s DC FanDome 2021. Flula Borg, who played Javelin in 2021’s The Suicide Squad, made the introduction to the video game trailer. He even teased that he lives in the video game.
In this game, Task Force X was created with members of the Suicide Squad by Amanda Waller to send villains on a one-way mission in Metropolis. The team must defeat Brainiac when he invaded Earth and brainwashed the Justice League, including Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman. Their mission is to eliminate and kill the Justice League. Yup, definitely suicide.

The game is set in the Arkhamverse that established the Batman: Arkham series. The confirmed voice cast confirmed so far included Tara Strong as Harley Quinn and Samoa Joe as King Shark.
The game features four playable characters of the villains in a four-player cooperative multiplayer mode. A solo mode is available, in which the solo player can switch between characters with other villains controlled by AI.
The hardcore violent game has been in development for quite some time, but it seems they’re dead set on releasing it sometime next year without a specific date announced at this time. It will be available on the nextgen console systems of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows.
