In Sundown, the dramatic romantic chemistry developed between a local in Acapulco and a tourist escaping his family for reasons of his own. Their magnetic relationship prospered in meetups on the beach, but with very little conversation.
The film stars Tim Roth, Iazua Larios, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Henry Goodman, Albertine Kotting McMillan, and Samuel Bottomley.
Here is the official synopsis of Sundown:
Neil and Alice Bennett (Tim Roth, Charlotte Gainsbourg) are the core of a wealthy family on vacation in Mexico with younger members Colina and Alexa (Samuel Bottomley, Albertine Kotting McMillan) until a distant emergency cuts their trip short. When one relative disrupts the family’s tight-knit order, simmering tensions rise to the fore in this suspenseful jolt from writer/director Michel Franco.
