Chucky’s contemplation of mortality and the looming threat of death sets the stage for a thrilling second half of season three of Chucky on SYFY, promising suspense and intrigue from creator Don Mancini

The third season sees the young cast of Zackary Arthur, Bjorgvin Arnarson, and Alivia Alyn Lind taking a stand against Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif), determined to end his reign of terror once and for all. Their efforts are further bolstered by the addition of Devon Sawa and Jennifer Tilly in the second half of the season.

The third season of Chucky premiered on October 4^th, and new episodes will be released on Wednesdays on USA/SYFY (9-10 p.m. ET/PT). In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season three now sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world—America’s First Family inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure building, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile, Tiffany faces a looming crisis of her own as the police close in on her for “Jennifer Tilly’s” murderous rampage last season.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with showrunner and creator Don Mancini on the second half of the season with a preview of what to expect.

Don Mancini is best known for creating the franchise for Child’s Play, which started with the original movie in 1988. He wrote all seven of the Child’s Play films that also included Child’s Play 2, Child’s Play 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky. He directed Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky. His other writing credits extended to episodes of Tales from the Crypt, Hannibal, and Channel Zero.

Season three of Chucky returns with new episodes on April 10^th at 10 p.m. on USA and SYFY.
