Teaser For ‘Back To Work’ A Preview Special For The Extended Season 10 Of The Walking Dead

One of the many series that was affected by the pandemic shutdown was AMC’s The Walking Dead. So much so that the season finale had to be pushed back to October of last year. Then the decision was made to extend the tenth season with six more episodes. These are scheduled to premiere on Sunday, February 28th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. If you can’t wait for Sunday, you can catch them early on AMC+ prior to the episodes’ linear premiere on Sundays, beginning March 4th.

To get us ready for the extended tenth season of The Walking Dead. AMC has put together a special extended preview special titled ‘Back To Work’. If you are a subscriber of AMC+ then you may have already seen it as it was available to stream starting yesterday. If not, then you can catch it this Sunday, February 21st on AMC at 9:00 p.m./8c. Like everyone else, the cast and crew of The Walking Dead had to adapt to the new protocols to try and keep everyone safe and working. It looks like a very interesting behind-the-scenes look at the series. We will get to hear from our favorite stars what challenges they faced in filming the series for our enjoyment. One thing is for sure they all seemed happy to be back to work.

Here is a synopsis for the Preview Special provided by AMC

This week, The Walking Dead Extended Season 10 Preview Special is available to stream on AMC+ beginning Thursday, February 18. The special will also air on AMC on Sunday, February 21 at 9:00 p.m/ 8c. In the special, Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick chats with virtual guests including cast members Paola Lazaro (“Princess”) and Seth Gilliam (“Father Gabriel”) as well as showrunner and executive producer Angela Kang and the host of the TWDU Twitch Channel, Clarke Wolfe. We’ll learn what it was like filming these episodes with new safety protocols, the new characters we’ll meet in these episodes and what else we can expect from these six new episodes in the extended 10^th season of The Walking Dead.

The special will also share footage from some of the show’s virtual table reads, insight from cast members Lauren Cohan (“Maggie”), Ross Marquand (“Aaron”), Khary Payton (“Ezekiel”), Cailey Fleming (“Judith”), and Cooper Andrews (“Jerry”) on what they’re most looking forward to in these episodes, and an exclusive sneak peek from the first episode, which is available on AMC+ beginning on February 21 and airs on AMC on February 28 at 9 p.m./8c.
