On GMA this morning the teaser trailer for The Marvels dropped and we have it here for your perusal. So far, I’m not sure either way in this trailer. I didn’t hate it, or love it, I’m in a wait and see mood for this one currently. Though, that could swing either way prior to release.

This of course is only a teaser trailer and designed simply to whet our appetites. I’m not sure if it was successful on that front, so we shall see? Despite Ms. Marvel not being the best show, I actually liked Kamala and her family. They stood out again for me as the highlight in this trailer. I’m still not a fan of Captain Marvel, yet,  because so far all she’s had are some cool fight scenes in Endgame and one very average movie. I liked Monica Rambeau in WandaVision, but she was a secondary character and as such I feel like I need to get to know what she’s up to now.

The last few MCU movies have failed to get me to jump to theaters to see them, usually after bad word of mouth. I’m already there when it comes to Guardians 3, but it remains to be seen if I’ll catch The Marvels first time out. However I genuinely hope it turns out to be a good movie where we can finally like Carol as a cornerstone hero.

Course that’s just me, I’m sure opinions will as always vary wildly depending on where you check. I’l also point out that this trailer does seem to match all the rumors and leaks around The Marvels so far. Though, I’m not sure that really helps determine if this will be any good or not? Jury is out for now.
