What factored into this gargantuan success? Was it the fact it was the culmination of the previous 18 movies that preceded it, or was it something more? Personally, I think word of mouth has had a really positive impact on this movie, as I have heard of fans scheduling in their fourth and fourth cinema viewings already in chat rooms. Regardless, it’s made some huge coin in the past few days.

One man went to Instagram to thank those fans himself, none other than the Mad Titan himself, Thanos, aka actor Josh Brolin:

Well he has to be happy, especially given that Thanos was one of the standout performances in the movie in many fans eyes. Brolin also thanked all the other extremely talented people behind putting his performance on the big screen. After all, the CGI and motion capture were as fantastic as Brolin’s acting. I must say, I found Thanos the most compelling villain thus far in the MCU.

So, Josh Brolin, thank you straight back. I am sure I echo many fans sentiments when I say you absolutely nailed it as Thanos. You were the baddest man in the Universe and I personally can’t wait to see more of Brolin’s Thanos in Avengers 4.

What do you think of Avengers: Infinity War record-setting performance? Were you happy with how Thanos was realised? Let us know in the usual place.
