Spoiler alert! Cassian Andor died at the end of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. That doesn’t mean we can’t spend more time between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope before his death in service to the Rebel Alliance. For those that don’t know, Andor is getting his own show on Disney+. Honestly, I think this show could be very cool considering Andor’s job as a spy. That being said, I am really tired of stories between the Prequel Trilogy and the Original Trilogy of Star Wars.
We all know that Jon Favreau split directing duties amongst several people for his production of The Mandalorian series, and it seems that the show on Cassian Andor will do something similar, including using one of the directors of The Mandalorian.

Rick Famuyiwa is in talks to direct a few episodes of upcoming series on the Rebel’s most famous unknown spy. Famuyiwa is most famous for directing Dope and was once attached to direct the unnamed/named/delayed/being produced/whatever The Flash film.
Filming for the new series is expected to start in October with no known release date.
