The sequel to the 2019 animated movie, ‘The Addams Family,’ is coming soon! On Twitter today, The Addams family have released their character posters enjoying some summer fun. Also, their trailer will be coming out on Wednesday. The Addams Family 2 will be out in time for Halloween.

Charlize Theron and Oscar Isaac will be returning to their characters, Morticia and Gomez. Chloë Grace Moretz will be returning as Wednesday. Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Snoop Dog are back as Fester, Grandma, and It. Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton will be replacing Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley. Also, Bill Hader will be playing a new character, Cyrus. We find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with ‘scream time.’ To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Their adventure across America takes them out of their element and into hilarious run-ins with their iconic cousin, It, as well as many new kooky characters. What could possibly go wrong?
Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon have returned to direct the sequel. MGM will be releasing The Addams Family 2 in theaters on October 1. Also, don’t forget to look out for the trailer coming out on Wednesday.
