So we now know for sure that The Bad Batch Season 1 will be 16 episodes long. As for where that finale will go, there are no hints here. Though, one does wonder what COS means? Could that be a code for the episode title, or is it something more innocuous? Sadly, we have no idea either way with this post.
We still have 10 episodes to get through before we get to that finale. Therefore all we can do is speculate on where the story of The Bad Batch is going. I feel like some of the speculation we fans have come up with might factor into later seasons. The story beats most fans are centering on is the ultimate fate of Omega, and what is special about her. Additionally, the inhibitor chips appear to remain importnat and with Wrecker having those headaches one wonders if the Clones will have to seek out Rex to aid their colleague and friend.

However, as said, there’s no guarantee that either of these future arcs will be resolved within the opening Season of the show. I don’t feel like we are far enough in yet to be able to judge the pace at which these arcs will progress.
I’ve always wondered if The Bad Batch will end up connecting straight into Rebels. Whilst that show has long ended, it is the next step timeline wise within the Star Wars canon. Rebels begins quite a few years after where we are in The Bad Batch, which is really still post-Sith, and The Clone Wars. However, fans assume we may get several seasons of The Bad Batch. It’s possible that the culmination of this show will take us into the beginning of Rebels. That would be neat in terms of chronological viewing order for the current Star Wars timeline.
