The Batman: Casting News May Come This Week

For some reason, Warner Bros. believes that Batman is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ever since Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, the company has dedicated huge amounts of time and resources to properties related to the Bat. Some have done okay and some have bombed. I will admit that I am very interested in this year’s Joker though. That being said, there’s a rumor on the internet that the announcement of the next Bruce Wayne is imminent.

Not counting voice actors or serial actors Bruce Wayne and The Bat have bee played by Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, and most recently Ben Affleck. That’s more than any other superhero and is both a testament to the characters popularity and the inability of WB to dig deeper into its DC properties. Yes, I know they made Suicide Squad but they put two of the most popular Batman characters in it, they’re making Birds of Prey which is a Batman spinoff, and they’re making The Batman with Matt Reeves at the helm. I would mention The Suicide Squad but the characters in that are still being discussed, although I am nearly 100% sure Harley Quinn will be in it again.

DC fans deserve better than a lot of what they’ve got from WB and its DCEU, and in order to do that they have to dig deeper.

Are you excited to hear who will put on the Bat suit? What DC properties would you like to see be made into a film? Let us know in the comments below!
