The Batman | Two Ominous Posters Released Ahead of DC FanDome

Is Robert Pattinson's Batman in The Penguin series? No idea, but DC boss James Gunn confirms there are no rights issues preventing it.

Are you just as excited for the new The Batman trailer as I am? We are less than 24 hours away from the reveal of a new trailer for Matt Reeves’ Dark Knight film at this year’s DC FanDome. Keep in mind that it was at last year’s DC FanDome that we last saw any footage from The Batman. As if we weren’t already hyped up enough today Warner Bros. Pictures released two new posters for the film. You can check them out below!

The posters for The Batman keep that black and red aesthetic that we have previously seen. The one with Batman mostly features his silhouette with a little emphasis on the Bat symbol on the chest. He of course is played by Robert Pattinson. Also what stands out is the high collar that this version of the suit seems to have.

The other poster features the antagonist of the film, the Riddler, played by Paul Dano. A lot of negative space with the character out of focus. Amplifying the mysterious qualities of the character. We can see that he is holding a note out which we can assume is a riddle for Batman. From what we can see here we get the sense that this is going to be a lot darker version of the Riddler than any interpretation that we have seen in the past.
