The Book Of Boba Fett Will Explore Fett’s Past

The Book Of Boba Fett Episode 5 Review - It's Mando Season 3 Episode 1

We here at LRM along with many other fans had speculated whether The Book of Boba Fett will explore Fett’s past. The title alone makes you think this would tell us a bit more about what Fett has been up to. Of course, because plot details on The Book of Boba Fett are non-existent, it was merely speculation. Not any longer though! Star Temeura Morrison recently chatted with Rotten Tomatoes and though talk was mostly about his appearance in The Mandalorian Season 2, he did leave us this one nugget for his own show.

“Well, we can’t say too much, but we’re going to see his past and where he’s been since The Empire Strikes Back. Somebody pointed out he’s been kind of stuck in this one place, and now’s the time to actually go back in time and check out his journey and find out more about him.”

Whilst this does not tell us the extent of how we will delve into Fett’s past, I’m sure fans at least expect to learn how he escaped the Sarlacc pit. However there are a few other intriguing gaps in Fett’s history that could be explored. For example we here at LRM exclusively revealed that Bossk will show up again in TBOBF. How will that Bossk/Fett relationship have changed since we last saw both during The Clone Wars? They were rivals for the bounty on Han Solo and yet prior to that seemed to be somewhat friendly.

Perhaps what is even more intriguing than Fett’s past though is what his plans are going forward. How will those plans effect the future of this Mandoverse being built by Filoni and Favreau? I guess we will know more this December when the show hits Disney+.
