While I expected The Boys to be pretty solid overall, there wasn’t a single ounce of me that thought it would become one of the most talked-about streaming experiences of the year. Seriously, I have yet to hold any tangential conversation with anyone who has a single bad thing to say about the first season of Amazon Prime Video’s original series, which gave us a world full of deplorable superheroes.

Luckily, even before the first season started airing, the streamer confirmed a second season for the show, so fans won’t have to wait long to see the story continue. In fact, you won’t have to wait long to see a glimpse in the form of a trailer.

As far as what you have to look forward to, as with many shows, you’ll get to see them go just a bit bigger this time around, as executive producer Seth Rogen told Collider earlier this year.

“They already have more resources for the second season and they’re adding more characters. The scope of the show organically grows as the show continues.”
