The Comic Stash: March Arrivals To Add To Your Collection!

Hello and welcome back! Welcome to new readers to my monthly column, The Comic Stash: March edition! Last month some of the title suggestions become hits for that month. Mostly because they have new characters, the artist or the writer telling a remarkable story. I do not merely go over titles that will become hot. Nor the comics you can sell around to get more money. Being a collector, I enjoy the world of comics and not am not a prospector. Sharing good stories that are coming out each month is what I enjoy doing. I also pick ones that will be worth your time and money. Also, remember that title release dates can change or delayed for whatever reason.

Week One March 2, 2022

Let’s get The Comic Stash: March edition going. From Comixtribe comes Happy Hill #2 by Rich Douek and Joe Mulvey who also does the art. The first issue is fun as we find out more about a wonderful paradise resort that has a dark secret hiding in the area.

Image Comics’ Nocterrra #8 by Scott Snyder with art by Tony S Daniel comes out this week. This title is one of my favorite books and one I truly look forward when it comes out.

A new title from Image comes out this week called Rogue Sun #1 by Ryan Parrott with art by Abel.

DC Comics has a new two-series: Trail of the Amazons #1. It is by a ton of writers and great art talent.

From Scout Comics comes a new series that will focus on a stand-alone story in each issue. The title is Pentagram of Horror #1 and drawn by Marco Fontanili.

Second Sight Publishing has the final issue of These Damn Kids #3 by Bradley Golden and Peter Breau with art by Helmut Racho.

Until my Knuckles Bleed #2 is drawn by Victor Santos from Behemoth Comics also comes out this week.

Marvel Comic’s has She-Hulk #2 by Rainbow Rowek with art by Roge Antonio, which will come out this week.

Marvel‘s new series starts this week as well with the title: Strange #1 by Jed MacKay with art by Marcelo Ferreira. This should a fun series as we now have a new sorcerer supreme named Clea.

 Week Two March 9, 2022

Moving into week two of The Comic Stash: March is DC Comic’s Detective Comics #1056 by Matthew Rosenberg and Mariko Tamaki with art by Amancay Nahuelpan, come out this week. If you are a Batman fan, then you know the art and storyline right now is simple amazing and if you not reading this title, you are missing out.

Speaking of enjoyable books, you must check out Marvel’s Thor #23 by Donny Cates with art by Nic Klein. This series by far has been a great read along with great art.

Marvel finally has the return of an old character but fan favorite Punisher #1 by Jason Aaron with art by Paul Azaceta.

Marvel also have a five-issue mini-series: Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #1 by Tim Seeley with art by Jodi Nishijima.

The other five issue mini-series is for fans of Captain Carter #1. It will be out this week by Jamie McKelvie with art by Marika Cresta.

For Star War fans there is a new series from Marvel this week called, Star Wars: Han Solo and Chewbacca #1 by Marc Guggenheim with art by David Messina.

Another new five issue mini-series coming out from Image is: Radiant Red #1 by Cherish Chen with art by David Lafuente.

Artists Writers and Artisans INC has a new series: Hit Me #1 by Christa Faust with art by Marco Lesko. This should be a fun story as we follow Lulu as she tries to run away from a gang because she is a witness and has a briefcase full of diamonds.

Image Comics has a different story coming out this week: Slumber #1. The title is by Tyler Burton Smith with art by Vanessa Cardinali. This story is about Nathan who is a nightmare hunter who enters peoples dreams and kills their nightmares. Week three does not have a ton of new titles coming out and it is not a heavy week for normal titles.

 Week Four March 23, 2022

The next week in The Comic Stash: March edition is from DC Comics. They are releasing Batman’89 #5 of 6 mini-series that is by Sam Hamm with art by Joe Quinones.

DC Black Label has a new series: Rogues #1 by Joshua Williamson with art by Massimiliano Leomacs. This should be a delightful story as we see Rogues in a more mature setting in the DC Universe.

For Venom fans Marvel is releasing a new five issue mini-series: Venom Lethal Protector #1 by David Michelinie with art by Ivan Fiorelli.

Dark Horse will have their new series: We have Demons #1 by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo. This should a book worth getting because it has a fan favorite writer along with a fan favorite artist giving us this tale.

Behemoth Comics will have Until my Knuckles Bleed #3 which is drawn by Victor Santos coming out this week as well.

Ablaze Comics will have one of my favorite titles coming out this week: Animal Castle #4 by Xavier Dorison with art by Felix Delep. The art is beautiful and if you have read Animal Farm you will get the same feel in this tail.

For the last week of The Comic Stash: March, Marvel will have X-Force Annual #1 out which is by Nadia Shammas and Rafael T. Pimentel.

Boom! Studios will have Something is Killing the Children #21 by James Tynion with art by Werther Dell Edera, out this week. This story emerges as a hot story and for anyone, this is an exciting time to start reading as they start a new story arc.

Marvel will have Black Widow #15 out this by Kelly Thompson and art by Elena Casagrande. This is a great run for Black Widow fans as Kelly Thompson brings Natasha’s personality and soul in the pages. Elena’s art is super and never a let-down each month when it comes out.

Marvel will also have a new series: Immortal X-Men #1 by Kieron Gillen with art by Lucas Werneck.

The other new series coming out is called Marauders #1 by Steve Orlando with art by Eleonora Carlini.

Comixtribe Comics will have the third issue of Happy Hill out this week, which is nice that they are trying to get two issues out a month from a series.

DC has a new mini-series coming out: Batman: Beyond the White Knight#1 by Sean Murphey and art by Dave Stewart. The White Knight series has great stories. This new one should be great as well. We see what happens ten years after the last story and what has become of Bruce Wayne.
